Graduated compression (more intense in the ankle, progressively decreasing towards the calf and thigh), which restores the blood circulation speed to normal levels in leg veins.
Thrombosafe® stockings stand out for their premium quality and reliability: gimped latex-free elastomer yarn covered with a protective sheath, for excellent skin tolerability. Elasticated edges with soft seams. The inspection hole allows the doctor to conveniently check the foot. Anatomic, seamless, enveloping and soft heel. Elastic non-slip band applied in the extremity preventing the stockings from going down and keeping them in the correct position. LATEX FREE fabric, resistant to the use of skin creams, ointments, and sweat. 

How to wear the anti-thrombosis stockings:
1. Carefully stretch open the top of the stockings using the thumbs and roll them down to the heel;
2. Correctly position the heel and the foot inside the stockings;
3. Once the heel is properly positioned, slide the stockings upwards, smoothing out creases and folds, from the ankle, calf and to the thigh or groin, depending on the stockings’ length. 

Washing: wash up to 100 °C and sterilize in an autoclave if required, for example for use in an operating room. For domestic washing, we recommend washing at a maximum of 95 °C.

Contradictions: open ulcers, dermatitis, erythemas, necrosis, severe arteriosclerosis, arterial pressure disorders, right ventricular cardiac insufficiency, other ischaemic vascular diseases, leg or pulmonary oedemas, lower limb infections, intolerance to polyamide, elastane and silicone. Do not use unsuitable sizes and whenever the doctor advises against it.  Furthermore, the product must not be used in patients with ongoing deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or suffering from arteriopathies, narrowing of blood vessels, cardiovascular diseases, massive oedemas in the lower limbs, local dermatitis, and finally when the circumference of the thigh or below the knee exceeds the maximum values indicated in the measurements. 

How to choose the size: to choose the right size for the patient, measure the limb circumference (CB, CD, CG) to determine the stockings’ width (SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE, XL). Then measure the length of the limb (iD or iG) to determine the stockings’ length (short, standard, long). The colour facilities the choice of the size and length. Twelve sizes available for each type of stockings, to ensure a correct fit for the patient’s body.
